溶于苯、醇、四氯化碳等有机溶剂，不溶于水和脂肪族烃，是一种成本低廉的火焰阻燃剂，且具有良好的稳定性
产品用途
本品主要用于软硬聚氨酯泡沫，环氧树酯，聚苯乙烯，醋酸纤维素，乙基纤维素树脂和酚醛塑料，及枪式泡沫填缝剂的生产。特别推荐用刚性聚氨酯泡沫中具有优良的热导及水解稳定性，特别适用于ASTM84(II),用于化合物聚氨酯泡沫和不饱和树酯及酚醛塑料在低温时具有低粘性.通常还与三氧二锑配合使用，以提高阻燃效率.
